4 Weeks Course – Professional Football Training & Conditioning
This football training option is for players who are looking to train and pay each week.
Our coaching staff who have all played, managed and/or coached at top levels have carefully designed the DIFA training programme to put our players through their paces, preparing them to beat the competition and reach to the next level of their football career.
Our schedule mirrors that of any top professional club, training full time 5 days per week (Mon – Fri).
Each session has a different style to build strength, improve power and sharpen technical skills.
All players will see improvements in their
- Football Technique and Skills
- Match fitness
- Sprinting Technique
All the skills learnt during training are put to the test in a weekly matches against local Professional and Semi-professional clubs.
Our off pitch programme is a series of classroom based activities that help to prepare our players for the world of international football. It covers everything from tactics and attitude to coaching tips and personal “off field development”.
Skills sessions and matches will be held on grass and/or 3G all weather surfaces and fitness conditioning will be in our state of the art fitness suites.
We provide accommodation for our players with local host families for an additional $160.00 per week.
Our families have been fully checked by our Welfare Officer.
All our families are within walking distance or a short bus ride away from the academy which means the players can travel independently to and from training. Breakfast and an evening meal will be provided by the family but players should organise their own lunch on training days. Lunch can be purchased from one of the cafes close to the Academy or for players who stay for longer periods of time, they may be able to buy food from a supermarket and prepare it at home beforehand. Host families are able to cater for different dietary requirements where necessary.
Staying in host families is a great way for players to immerse themselves in life at DIFA and also experience living in Southfield Michigan.
Players will have access to all the house amenities, wifi, TV etc.
Our Welfare Officer, pays weekly visits to the families and also visits players at the academy regularly. He ensures all of our players are happy at the academy and in their lodgings if necessary he can be contacted 24/7 should any issue arise.
